Limousin

Limousin is one of the most unspoilt areas of France. The landscape is very diverse and offers meandering streams and famous rivers as The Dordogne and Vezere which almost completely surrounds the old fortified town Uzerche.

The Corrèze

The river Corrèze runs through Tulle and Brive. Tulle and Brive are proud cities, because of their rich history, monumental buildings, their festivals, gastronomic partys and markets.

Of course, this area is also known for its red-brown Limousin cows.

Active

The Corrèze has the largest mushrooms colletction of France.

For active people, the Corrèze is extremely attractive. Hikers, cyclists, and horsebackriders find a paradise here.

Many of the larger lakes provide multiple opportunities for water sports like swimming, sailing and fishing, but you can also find quiet ponds where you get the feeling of being alone in the world.

The ski area Le Lioran is 1 hour drive away.

There are also several golf courses nearby, e.g. in Brive.
